Take 100gm ghee and 1000gm maida and mix it and make clay with water. Make small pieces of clay and fry it and then grind it into powder form. Mix sugar and powder from of clay. Now make ball and our maida laddu will ready.
The history of the Malida ceremony is legendary and full of color, befitting its native India: according to the legend, the people of the “Children of Israel” were exiled from the land and carried by ship to the shores of India, where the ship sank (exactly on Tu B'Shvat!).
Malida (Maleeda) or Malido is sweet and made with wholewheat flour (atta), semolina (sooji, rawa), jaggery (gur, gol), clarified butter (I) and dry fruits. This sweet exits in many cultures like Afghan and Gujarati families like Bohra, Memon, Kachi and Parsi.
