Kadai Mushroom is a hot, spicy, flavorful and delicious North Indian dish made primarily with button mushrooms, bell peppers and fresh ground spice blend known as Kadai Masala. Other basic ingredients like onions, tomatoes and herbs also are used.
Mushrooms contain high amounts of selenium, vitamin D, and vitamin B6. Selenium can help prevent cell damage in our bodies, vitamin D helps with cell growth, and vitamin B6 helps our bodies form red blood cells. All of these nutrients in mushrooms help to maintain a healthy immune system.
In a pan, heat oil, ghee and add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, black peppercorn, green cardamom, black cardamom and saute well. Add onion and saute till translucent, add red chilli powder, mushroom, salt to taste and water and saute well. Add the mushroom gravy in it and cook for a minute.
